UK BED SIZES - BED DIMENSIONS

Bed sizes will vary by design so please ask if you are unsure whether a certain bed will fit in your room, in general bedsteads come in 3 size-variations with sleigh shaped beds being very long, and wingback beds are wider while square-frame  Fabric Designer Beds are more compact. Please note adding gas-lift storage to a slatted bedstead will add 1-2" (~3-5cm) to the bed length.

3ft single, 4ft small double, 4ft6 double, 5ft king size and 6ft super king size are the standard UK bed sizes. These sizes refer to the mattress.
